Vision:
Support and promote creative arts in the Sarpy County area
Goals:
- Provide oportunities for the Sarpy community to be engaged with the arts to appreciate and experience the arts.
- Enhance artists abilities to sustain their business by providing guidence and training.
- Build partnerships between artists and the community of businesses, government entities, and community organizations to bring more art into the community.
Overriding Principles:
Support venues for the arts
Promote awareness of arts and artists
Foster and promote growth in the arts
Develop partnerships with schools to promote the arts
Provide networking opportunities for artists, art organizations and patrons of the arts
Establish a permanent presence of the Arts Council in the Sarpy community
Promote a climate of diversity in the art
